Client: A listed oil & gas company operating a major oil field in Africa
Requirement: Incited by local politicians during an intensive phase of operations, host communities attacked the company's sites and property in a remote part of Central Africa requiring a full evacuation from the field.
Solution:We delivered a comprehensive crisis response for the company, managing both local and international media, developing reactive and proactive communication plans, and drafting press releases. Our efforts included monitoring social media, mapping key local and national stakeholders, identifying and briefing supporters of the company’s initiatives, and actively participating in the internal investigation. Additionally, we provided recommendations on lessons learned to help strengthen future responses.
