The Team
Drawn from separate careers in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and London’s business intelligence sector, AC21’s two founders bring with them over 40 years of combined experience in the corporate and government worlds.
They have led on mandates ranging from investigations, due diligence and complex strategic projects, supporting senior corporate, finance and government stakeholders across Africa; and on inter-government relations and security partnerships across the continent.
They are joined by a senior mining sector executive, who brings 25 years of operational experience managing investments across some of Africa’s most challenging jurisdictions, whilst also strengthening AC21’s commitment to supporting investment in this strategically important sector.
AC21 harnesses a diverse network and in-house team of experienced professionals – drawn from different backgrounds including finance, government, security and intelligence, journalism, law and risk advisory; as well as senior business executives and academics, with strong line of sight on sector and regionally specific requirements. We leverage close corporate partnerships to provide complementary legal, cyber and communications support as necessary.
